The WFP Junior Professional Officer Programme gives sponsored early-career professionals hands-on experience in international development and humanitarian assistance. JPOs may work in programme implementation, policy, research, monitoring and evaluation, data, partnerships, project management, or emergency operations.

General requirements

  • An advanced university degree, or a first degree with additional relevant experience.
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Additional UN languages are highly desirable.
  • Applicants must meet the nationality, age, and other conditions established by the sponsoring government.
