UNICEF Eswatini is recruiting a Youth Participation and Youth Empowerment Intern for six months. The intern will support youth engagement platforms and programmes, including U-Report, youth-led consultations, data analysis, digital content, and coordination with young people and partner organizations.
Who can apply
- Applicants enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant undergraduate or graduate programme, including social sciences, youth development, communication, education, public policy, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant youth engagement, research, communication, data, or programme-support experience.
- Strong written and spoken English. Knowledge of SiSwati is an advantage.
What the internship offers
- Hands-on experience with UNICEF youth participation programmes.
- Work involving research, reporting, stakeholder engagement, content development, and programme coordination.
- A six-month placement based in Mbabane, subject to UNICEF internship conditions.
