The McCall MacBain Scholarship supports eligible master’s and professional degree study at McGill University. Selection emphasizes character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength, and fit with the proposed graduate programme.
Scholarship benefits
- Full tuition and fees for the normal duration of the eligible programme.
- A monthly living stipend of CAD 2,300 during academic terms.
- A one-time relocation grant and access to an intensive leadership development programme.
- Additional French-language learning support may be available.
Who can apply
- Current students on track to earn their first bachelor’s degree by August 2027.
- Applicants who earned their first bachelor’s degree within the last five years.
- Applicants who earned their first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and meet the programme’s age condition.
- Candidates must also meet the admission requirements for an eligible McGill graduate programme.
Application process
The scholarship application is separate from the McGill programme application. It includes personal information, activities and experience, short essays, transcripts, and references. Shortlisted candidates proceed to regional and final interviews.
